8th grade favorites
Eighth graders visited the library Monday, Thursday and Friday this week. These students will be the first class to have completed all three grades at the new SMS, and that means I've known them since they were sixth graders. I will certainly miss them when they go on to the high school. Some classes had book check out and some had special reward "read-a-lattes." I am always very pleased to get responses from students when I ask them if they have any books to recommend to their peers. Two classes in particular were excellent in their responses. No crickets! I even heard one student say, "I can't believe how many books I've read already this year!" Here are some of the books they recommended. Are there any we need to add? Have you read any of these? Leave a comment and let us know!
