Hooked on Detective Series

I am now on book seven of the series: The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith. My mother got me hooked on this series which is hugely popular in England and the US. The stories are set in modern day Botswana which is in Africa. These books are like some potato chips, you can't read just one! The main character, Precious Ramotswe has opened a detective agency. Read about some of the cases Precious solves, the events surrounding her life in Botswana while you learn about Africa. It won't take long for you to be hooked on this series. Start with the book simply titled: The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. The other books are titled differently: the one I am reading now is titled Blue Shoes and Happiness. I hear they are making a movie.
