How many days until break? The count down has begun! In the library we have lots of books on display about: Christmas, winter, blizzards, snowboarding, ice, penguins, polar bears, polar explorers and more. Come in and check out a book.
Mrs. Crumley has been busy re-coding our easy books to make them "easier" for everyone to find both on the shelf and in the circulation system. When you want to find an easy book in the circulation system, click on advanced search, type in the keywords for your search and then select "easy gold" from the copy type menu. An "ABC" icon will appear next to all books that are classified as easy books. We'll work on coding our South Carolina Books and then the Accelerated Reader books next.
I have been working with classes, assisting students and faculty with technology, installing software and hardware for our new DVD creating, burning and editing station, preparing a Thank You packet for Donor's Choose, reviewing books for library purchase, preparing a list of series for our patrons to use, and working on a unit of study for South Carolina History. There is always so much to do in the library! Just like everyone else, we are looking forward to our holiday break.
