A really great book

Over my break I did many things. One of the things I did was read. I read magazines, newspapers and a book. This book was so good that by the time I was done with it, I didn't want it to be over. It is a story about a young girl named Liesel who is growing up in Germany during the time of World War II, Hitler and the Holocaust. Her life is full of difficulties because of the political events of the time and place she lives in. One of the best things about this book is the narrator. I have never read a book that has been narrated from this perspective. The name of the book is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. The subject matter of the book can be a bit mature and can be very depressing. If you are interested in the Hitler's Germany and World War II and you think you are mature enough to handle this type of content, let me know and I will let you borrow my personal copy. It has been a long time since I've read a book that is this good.

What did you read over the break? It doesn't have to be a book to count! All reading counts! Leave a comment and tell us what you've been reading!
