SMS students have been reading the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series. Many students have joined the Lightning Thief Book Club where we blog about the book, participate in video conferences with Mauldin Middle and Ocean Bay Middle who also have groups of students school reading the book, make bookmarks and discuss the book.
Everyone knows the Lightning Thief has been made into a movie. Book club members will be going on a field trip to see the movie. We can't wait!

We should have The Hungar Game Book club again this year for the 6th graders!!! The book would be a great book club!!! My friends and I have the book and is reading it now!!! It is an alsome book right now so far..... Hope it stays great!!!...!!! But it would be a great book club for the new 6th graders....
We will have three or more book clubs this year and at least one of them will be for 6th graders. I think you will like the Hunger Games all the way to the end! Keep me posted on how you like it.
I love the book so far... It is sad once you get to like page 50...I love the libary and how its arranged... by the way Mrs.Taz are youliking us new fifth graders commenting on your blogger???

we are doing a book club now and we are reading the hunger games it is a great book!!I love it!!It is Me,Asia,Marybeth,And Cassidy!!And we love the book well hope to read more of it soon!!!
Ok.. Anyway I love the book Hungar Games. It is sooooooooo fun and I enjoy reading it with my friends Cassidy, Taylor B. and Asia... We love reading together
