The library was bustling this week with the Tech Petting Zoo, a Veterans Day reception, and 6th grade classes learning how to take notes for their upcoming research projects. Over 30 local veterans filled the library as they enjoyed a reception held in their honor before and after the Sims Middle School "Salute to Veterans" program.

Watch the video of the Inheritance release from Tuesday. This book was highly anticipated by several readers at SMS. Interested in reading the series? Check out the website or the book at SMS Library. Students are excited about the upcoming Cabin Fever release as well. In less than three days I will be rushing to the book store to pick up several copies of book six in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series, Cabin Fever. Ballotts are stuffed into the drawing tub for first check out rights as well as a free copy of the book. We are even going to raffle off the Cabin Fever book display! Students can pick up a free poster and book mark on release day: Tuesday November 15th. (First come first serve, while supplies last.)
