It makes me very happy to see that one of my favorite books is hot at Sims. What My Mother Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones is never in the library because it is constantly checked out. The great news is, there's a sequel! It's called: What My Girlfriend Doesn't Know, and it is written just like the first book, in verse, like a poem. However, this time it is the boyfriend, Robin Murphy who narrates. I am so excited! I have already ordered it for the library.
Another great book that hardly sits on the shelf is called The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. How could Percy Jackson be expelled from six schools in six years? Is it because he is dyslexic and ADHD? Or is it because he vaporizes his pre-algebra teacher? These are just the beginnings or Percy's problems. Check out this adventure novel and find out. If you like it, try The Sea of Monsters and then, The Titan's Curse.
